Lifegroups (Small group bible studies)

Some churches call these classes "Sunday School."  LifeGroups are where you connect with a small group of people and "do life" together. There are LifeGroups for all ages (newborn to senior adult) that meet throughout the week, but most of our groups meet on Sunday morning at 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.

Parking

When you arrive at First Moore, we encourage you to park in the WEST PARKING LOT (that faces Interstate 35).  You will see banners that say "Guest Parking" up close to the building.

There are so many doors!  Which ones should you use?

The best doors for guests to use are the doors right in front of Guest Parking (that faces Interstate 35).  This entrance has a huge sign that says "First Kids" (trust us, you can't miss it).  Just inside these doors, you will find a friendly volunteer waiting to help you.

If you have children

You will definitely want to enter on the west side (near Guest Parking).  Look for the huge, colorful sign that says "First Kids."

One thing you will notice immediately, is that we love children at First Moore.  We offer nursery facilities for children from birth through four years old.  We have a secure facility that includes security doors, surveillance cameras, on-site professional security personnel, and workers who are well trained and have been closely scrutinized (including full background checks).  This is all for the safety of your children and your peace of mind.  We know, this sounds kind of like a prison when we describe it, but these are subtle, unobtrusive security features.  You'll find the children's area to be kid friendly and your children will look forward to being here.  Nursery is provided for all services and activities on Sundays and Wednesday and for most activities throughout the week.  There is a LOT more to tell you  about our Preschool/Nursery Ministry, but that's enough to get you started.  But if you have questions, please contact us by email or call 793-2646.

For your older children:
On Sundays we have LifeGroups for children that meet at 8:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  During the 9:30 a.m. worship service, children in kindergarten through 6th grade participate in their own worship services, specifically designed for their age groups.  We use a comprehensive check-in and security system to ensure the safety of your older children that integrates fully with the security we use for the preschool/nursery area.

We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes early the first time you come so we can get your kids registered and fill you in with some important information about your visit.

What you Should wear

We encourage you to come as you are.  You will find that most people wear clothing that would be considered "business casual."  However, you will also see people in suits and ties, jeans, etc.  We will never tell you what kind of clothes to wear.
