In the Worship Ministry at First Moore, we are all about
Knowing Jesus • Following Jesus • Becoming like Jesus
and creating a culture of excellence in worshiping Jesus.
We accomplish this by Exalting Christ in biblical worship, Equipping people in spiritual and musical discipleship, Embracing each other like a family, Empowering one another to serve with our gifts/talents, and by Engaging our community through music and worship.
The Worship Choir is a multigenerational group of people who are passionate about worshiping Christ! This is the best group to join if you are new to the Worship Ministry because no audition is required and it is not necessary to read music. The Worship Choir rehearses on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Choir Room (Between the Worship Center and Atrium) and leads worship in our Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. on the following Sunday. Band
The worship band is a talented group of people who are passionate about worshiping God and using their gifts to lead others in worship! This group is mostly made up of guitarists, drummers, keyboardists, and singers who help lead worship each week in our Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Media
team
The media team is a dedicated group of people who love to lead worship through technology! This team of volunteers runs our soundboard, light board, computers, and cameras in our Sunday service and special events throughout the year. There are different skill levels required for serving on this team, some basic and some advanced, however, we do offer training in all areas. Arts
Student Worship Arts is an awesome group of students (7th-12th Grade) who are learning how to lead others in worship. This group is made up of guitarists, keyboardists, drummers, singers, and media techs who rehearse on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. in the Student Center (Upstairs in the Atrium) and they lead worship in the weekly Student Worship Service during the school year. Kid Worship Arts is an energetic group of kids (1st – 6th Grade) that have a blast learning to worship God! If you have a kid that loves music, this is the group for them! KWA sings occasionally in Sunday morning services and special events throughout the year, including a KWA Production each Spring. This group rehearses on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. in the Choir Room (Between the Worship Center and Atrium) during the school year. If You are interested in joining this group, email Daniel Evans.
