This lunch and training is for our current team members and those interested in joining the Connection Team. It will be held in the East Leadership Center at noon on March 30!
Holy Week Stations
Come prepare your hearts for Easter through First Moore's Holy Week Stations on Wednesday, April 16th and Friday, April 18th. These stations are self-guided and designed to help you reflect on the gospel story leading up to Good Friday and Easter. The stations will take approximately 15-20 minutes to walk through and will start at the Atrium glass doors that lead into the East Building on the first floor. You are welcome to start the stations at any time they are open on April 16th from 5:30pm-7:30pm and April 18th from 5:00pm-6:00pm. We will also have a children's activity page that will help guide them through the stations along with their parents and childcare will be provided for ages 3 and under only on Wednesday, April 18th.
Good Friday
Join us on Friday, April 18, for a time of reflection and remembrance as we think about the death of Jesus.
Our service will begin at 6:30pm. We will reflect through song, scripture, preaching, and partaking in the Lord’s Supper together. Childcare will be available for infants-4-year-olds.
Easter Sunday
Join us for Easter Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Life Groups will not meet and we will have two worship services at 9:00am and 10:30am!
Charity Gayle Concert
Join us for an unforgettable night of worship with Charity Gayle, one of the world’s leading worship artists. Celebrated for her anthems like “I Speak Jesus,” “Thank You Jesus for the Blood,” and “I Believe,” sung in churches around the globe, Charity has inspired millions with her music, amassing over half a billion streams worldwide. Parents' Night Out
Parents’ Night Out, Friday, April 25, from 6-9pm at First Moore. Childcare for infants through 6th grade and there will be special needs care available. The cost is $5.00 per child ($20 family max).
Your kids will have pizza and plenty of fun with other kids here at the church building. If you need a night alone or with your spouse, register by Wednesday, April 23!
Church Family Meeting
On April 27, we will be having our quarterly Church Family Sunday. We will have our Sunday morning schedule of LifeGroups at 9:00am and our Worship Service at 10:30am, which will be followed by the two additional events listed below.
Noon- Fellowship Meal We will enjoy a meal together following the worship service. The cost for the meal is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family household if you register by Sunday, April 20. The cost will be $10 per person with a maximum of $30 per family household after April 20. A ticket must be purchased for the meal and can be done online or at either connection hub, or west desk (during the week).

12:30pm- Family Business Meeting We will review finances from our last quarter, get updated on many of the ministry efforts of the past quarter, and more.
FBC 101
Have you recently become a member of First Moore? Are you interested in becoming a member of First Moore, or do you have questions about what membership is? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then we would like to invite you to join us for FBC 101 on Sunday, May 4.
At FBC 101, we will help people understand what we believe as a church, what we expect of our members, and how a person can be a part of First Moore. Through a mixture of teaching, testimonies, and Q&A, we hope to help everyone present become more acquainted with our church. There will be lunch and childcare will be available. Mission Adventure Camp for kids who will complete 3rd through 6th grade May 27-30.
Registration ends May 4, 2025.
Parent and Sponsor meetings will be May 14, 2025 from 6-7:30 PM.
A deposit of $60 is required at registration to hold your camper’s spot.
All final payments are due May 27, 2025 at camper drop off.
Family Dedication - Father's Day
First Moore’s Preschool Ministry is planning a special time for families on April 15, 2025, with our Family Dedication during our Worship Service. The Bible speaks many times about the importance of parents in the spiritual development of their children. Our goal as a church is to come alongside parents and support them as they disciple their children.
Our Family Dedication Sunday is designed to be a time of commitment and encouragement for parents as they promise to do their best to raise their children God’s way.

VBS 2025
Magnified! VBS will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!
When: 9am-12pm | Monday, July 7 - Thursday, July 10
Who: For children who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade (as of May 2025). This registration is for volunteers and participants (kids and special needs).
Spring Break Sports Camp
Multi-sport camp from 9am-12pm that will include basketball, soccer, karate, volleyball, and a devotional time for 1st through 6th graders. Drop off will begin at 8:30am and pick up will be from 11:50am-12:10pm.
Estate Planning Lunch
God calls us to manage our resources wisely, both as individuals and as a church. That’s why First Moore is partnering with WatersEdge to help you pass on God’s provision through biblically grounded estate planning that protects your family and advances ministry. An estate plan includes important legal documents like a will, healthcare directives and powers of attorney. If your estate plan includes a gift to a partnering ministry of your choice, WatersEdge will reimburse a portion or all of the legal fees associated with the creation of your plan.
Join us for a free lunch and learn about estate planning with WatersEdge. We have another option Sunday, March 9 at Noon. RSVP is required and childcare is available for the March 9 lunch.
Equip Leader Lunch
All leaders in the church are invited to meet on campus for lunch from 12-1 on the first Thursday of each month. Join us for training about leading life groups and making disciples! Register each month to get your free lunch.
Mission Ignition
Mission Ignition is a hands-on missions experience for kids in 1st through 6th grade, where they will learn about different ways they can be involved in missions. They will also be challenged to do missions when they return home.

Paint Your Heart Out
Join Mrs. Rachel for a Mother/Daughter (or Female Guardian/role model and female child) for our "Paint your Heart Out" event. It is February 16th from 4-6 p.m. in the Atrium. We will walk through a directed painting activity, have a short devo on finding our Identity in Christ, and spend time in fellowship together. This is for ages 4 and up. A parent/guardian must be present with child(ren). We will have light snacks.

Night to Shine
We are so excited to host Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on Friday, February 7, 2025! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment, and reminded of God’s love for them!

Serve as a Buddy. A buddy at Night to Shine will accompany and assist an assigned Honored Guest throughout the evening. They will provide companionship and needed assistance to their Honored Guest during the event. This is a great way to serve and help us ensure that Night to Shine is great night for all! Buddies must be at least 16 years old.
Prague - Interest Meeting
Join us on Sunday, Feb. 2 in the Fellowship Center to learn about our upcoming mission trip to Prague, Czech Republic. The trip dates, details, and estimated cost will all be discussed in this brief meeting!

United Weekend 2025

First Moore Students (7th-12th graders) is partnering with other churches in Moore and South OKC for United Weekend on January 24th-26th. Students will worship together and be challenged to go deeper in their walk with Christ through biblical teaching and small group discussion.
United Weekend unofficially begins with the United Rally at Eagle Heights Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 22nd. This evening is similar to the weekend worship experiences, but is free and open to any student even if they can’t attend United Weekend.
Please Note: Even though most of our students will choose to stay in host homes during the weekend, this is not a requirement to participate in United Weekend. Please contact Jason if you have any questions.

Important Details About United Weekend
United Weekend is one of the main events we participate in each year for our students. This weekend challenges our students to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus, builds community among our students, while also showing them the importance of uniting with local churches in worship. If your student is not currently registered, please encourage them to join in!
Please Note:
Students are not required to stay overnight at the host homes. Please contact Jason if you have questions about host home participation.
Students are allowed to arrive late or come and go if they have other activities they must participate in on Saturday. They will need to have a Time Away card on record.
Scholarships assistance if available upon request. Contact Brennan in the Next Gen office for a scholarship request form.
Weekend Focus & Direction
LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND – The focal passage of the weekend will be 1 John 2:15-17, and the objective is that students will come away from United Weekend embracing the call to leave the world behind in exchange for the better things that Christ offers us through a life surrendered to Him.
Aging Well
The 'Aging Well' event will replace our Midweek Bible Study on January 22 at 10 AM. The cost is $7, which covers a Chick-fil-A lunch and a session with our speaker, June Hunt.
The purpose of this event is to inspire and support our seniors in their spiritual journey as they age. It aims to deepen their understanding of God’s plan for this stage of their lives while fostering meaningful connections across generations within our church family.
Father/Son Nerf Night
Fathers and their sons are invited to join us for a Nerf Night! Bring your own Nerf Gun and we will provide the Nerf bullets. We will have a short devo/encouragement and then have a friendly competition with Nerf Guns! Light snacks will be provided. This is for ages 4 and up!
Men's Ski Trip
All men are invited to join the First Moore Men’s Ministry for our next Ski Trip in January 2025! We will head to Casa Del Colorado House in Pagosa Springs on January 17 and return to Moore on January 21, 2025. The cost is $240 per person and includes lodging for four nights as well as breakfast and dinner each day. Lift tickets, Ski Rental, Travel Meals, Lunches, and Transportation cost extra. The deadline for Registration/Payment is December 31, 2024, but payment is non-refundable after December 1st, 2024. Mark Hamm can answer any questions at marks.hamm@cox.net or 405-613-6200.
Equip Series
Our Wednesday Night Activities Resume on January 15 with an Equip Series in the Atrium. Pastor Charlie will be kicking things off on the 15th. The following two weeks will be led by Preston Condra. This Equip series will focus on evangelism and how to navigate conversations well. See you there!
Family Bingo Night
Join us for bingo for the whole family! We will play bingo, eat pizza, and enjoy fellowship.
Childcare for 2 and under will be provided.
Registration is free till January 5th, $5 with a family cap of $20 thereafter.

You are invited to join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service! It will begin at 6:30pm and we will share communion, sing Christmas hymns, and praise our God for sending His Son for us. Preschool Ministry will be available for infants - 2 year olds.
