Adults of all ages are invited to join us for a special summer session of Equip Groups on Wednesday nights from June 24 through July 29.

Our men will be studying biblical manhood under the leadership of one of our pastors each week. Using principles from R. Kent Hughes’ Disciplines of a Godly Man, this group will explore what it means to faithfully follow Christ as men, husbands, fathers, and leaders. While owning a copy of the book is not required, it will be a helpful resource for participants.

Our women will be working through Disciplines of a Godly Woman by Barbara Hughes. Together, they will examine biblical disciplines that cultivate spiritual growth, godly character, and a deeper walk with Christ.

Childcare is available upon request. Please add your child to your registration and choose either "Childcare (birth-K)" or "Childcare (1st-6th)." 

First Moore’s Preschool Ministry is planning a special time for families on June 21, 2026, with our Family Dedication during our Worship Service. The Bible speaks many times about the importance of parents in the spiritual development of their children. Our goal as a church is to come alongside parents and support them as they disciple their children.

Our Family Dedication Sunday is designed to be a time of commitment and encouragement for parents as they promise to do their best to raise their children God’s way.

After registering your children, please email one picture of each child being dedicated to Melissa Pienaar by June 14.

Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and join us for a Next Gen Movie Night on Wednesday, June 17, from 6-8pm in the Atrium! We’ll be watching The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and enjoying time together with family and friends. Popcorn and drinks will be provided, and we will also have Scoot’s Italian Ice on-site, with delicious frozen treats available for purchase ($5–$7). Scoot’s accepts all major forms of payment. In observance of Memorial Day, our church campus will be closed on Monday, May 25. We encourage you to take time to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. Have a safe and meaningful Memorial Day!

This men’s cookout is all about kicking back, enjoying some freshly grilled food, and connecting with other guys. Whether you’re swapping stories, playing yard games, or hitting a few rounds of disc golf, there’s something for everyone. Next Gen families, get ready to roll into summer. Join us for our Summer Kickoff at Skate Moore on Wednesday, May 6, from 6-8pm. Doors open right at 6pm, so be sure to arrive on time and ready for a night of fun, music, and skating with friends.

This is a free event, and the concession stand will be open with food and snacks available for purchase.

At FBC 101, we will help people understand what we believe as a church, what we expect of our members, and how a person can be a part of First Moore. First Moore Women, you’re invited to join us for a special Women’s Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-12pm! Come enjoy a morning filled with delicious food, meaningful conversation, encouragement, and connection with other women in our church family. This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, build friendships, and be refreshed together in a welcoming and uplifting environment.

This event is free, but childcare is available for children 5 & under for $5 per child for those who need it.

On April 26, we will be having our quarterly Church Family Sunday. We will have our Sunday morning schedule of Life Groups at 9:00am and our Worship Service at 10:30am, which will be followed by the two additional events listed below.

Noon- Fellowship Meal We will enjoy a meal together following the worship service. The cost for the meal is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family household if you register by Sunday, April 19. The cost will be $10 per person with a maximum of $30 per family household after April 19. A ticket must be purchased for the meal and can be done online or at either connection hub, or west desk (during the week).

12:30pm- Family Business Meeting We will review finances from our last quarter, get updated on many of the ministry efforts of the past quarter, and more.

We invite Mothers and Daughters, ages 5 through 8th grade, to join us in making a variety of crafts together.  We will have various craft stations set up and ready to guide you through making each one.  It will be a fun night of being together and letting the creativity flow!

In December 2024, we launched our All In campaign with a goal of raising $1.5 million over two years to help pay down our building debt. We are grateful to share that in just 16 months, $1 million has already been given, a testimony to God’s provision and the generosity of our church family. As we enter the final nine months of the campaign, we are excited to see how the Lord will continue to provide. To help move us toward our goal, Sunday, April 12 has been set aside for a special All In offering. We invite you to prayerfully consider going all in with us this April as we work toward raising $60,000 during the month.

We’ll gather around tables in the Atrium and worship through song, scripture, preaching, and the Lord’s Supper. This is a sacred time to pause, remember, and prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter.

Dads, grab your boys and come ready to Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive… and Dodge as we pack the gym with high energy games and unforgettable memories. Whether you are a dodgeball champion or just in it for the laughs, this night is all about spending intentional time together and having a blast. Light snacks will be provided to keep everyone fueled and ready for the next round. All fathers and boys ages 5 through 8th grade are welcome. 

Join us for an appreciation lunch honoring our AVL, Preschool, Wednesday Dinner, and Connections Teams. This is simply a time to enjoy a meal together and say thank you for all the ways you faithfully serve. No agenda, just good food and gratitude!

Childcare will not be provided, but your children are welcome to attend with you.
