In December 2024, we launched our All In campaign with a goal of raising $1.5 million over two years to help pay down our building debt. We are grateful to share that in just 16 months, $1 million has already been given, a testimony to God’s provision and the generosity of our church family. As we enter the final nine months of the campaign, we are excited to see how the Lord will continue to provide. To help move us toward our goal, Sunday, April 12 has been set aside for a special All In offering. We invite you to prayerfully consider going all in with us this April as we work toward raising $60,000 during the month.
We invite Mothers and Daughters, ages 5 through 8th grade, to join us in making a variety of crafts together. We will have various craft stations set up and ready to guide you through making each one. It will be a fun night of being together and letting the creativity flow!
Join us on April 18 for a morning of service and community! We’ll kick things off with delicious Swadley’s Breakfast Tacos at 8:30am before getting to work from 9 AM to 12 PM. This is a great opportunity to serve alongside others and connect with our church family, no registration is required. We can’t wait to see you there!
On April 26, we will be having our quarterly Church Family Sunday. We will have our Sunday morning schedule of Life Groups at 9:00am and our Worship Service at 10:30am, which will be followed by the two additional events listed below.
Noon- Fellowship Meal We will enjoy a meal together following the worship service. The cost for the meal is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family household if you register by Sunday, April 19. The cost will be $10 per person with a maximum of $30 per family household after April 19. A ticket must be purchased for the meal and can be done online or at either connection hub, or west desk (during the week).
Menu- Chicken Cordon Bleu, Rice Pilaf, Green Beans, Salad, Rolls and Meringue Pie
12:30pm- Family Business Meeting We will review finances from our last quarter, get updated on many of the ministry efforts of the past quarter, and more.
First Moore Women, you’re invited to join us for a special Women’s Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-12pm! Come enjoy a morning filled with delicious food, meaningful conversation, encouragement, and connection with other women in our church family. This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, build friendships, and be refreshed together in a welcoming and uplifting environment.
This event is free, but childcare is available for children 5 & under for $5 per child for those who need it.

Through a mixture of teaching, testimonies, and Q&A, we hope to help everyone present become more acquainted with our church. There will be lunch and childcare will be available. Next Gen families are invited to our Summer Kickoff at Skate Moore on Wednesday, May 6, from 6-8pm. Please plan to arrive at 6:00 PM, as Skate Moore will not open the doors early. This is a free event!
CrossTimbers is a Mission Adventure Camp for kids who have completed 3rd through 6th grade. From May 30 to June 2, campers will step into a few days packed with adventure, faith, and fun as they grow closer to God and each other.
Parents and sponsors are invited to a required meeting on May 13, 2026, from 6 to 7:30pm to learn important details and get ready for camp. A $60 deposit is required at registration to reserve your camper’s spot, with all remaining balances due at camper drop off on May 30, 2026.
Register your kids for Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. During VBS, kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals.

Who: For children who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade (as of May 2026).
Join us for a meaningful evening of reflection and remembrance as we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus.
We’ll gather around tables in the Atrium and worship through song, scripture, preaching, and the Lord’s Supper. This is a sacred time to pause, remember, and prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter.
Dads, grab your boys and come ready to Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive… and Dodge as we pack the gym with high energy games and unforgettable memories. Whether you are a dodgeball champion or just in it for the laughs, this night is all about spending intentional time together and having a blast. Light snacks will be provided to keep everyone fueled and ready for the next round. All fathers and boys ages 5 through 8th grade are welcome.
Join us for an appreciation lunch honoring our AVL, Preschool, Wednesday Dinner, and Connections Teams. This is simply a time to enjoy a meal together and say thank you for all the ways you faithfully serve. No agenda, just good food and gratitude!
Childcare will not be provided, but your children are welcome to attend with you.
Our Spring Break Sports Camp is a fun, multisport experience for kids in 1st through 6th grade, happening March 16–18 from 9:00am to 12:00pm each day. Campers will rotate through basketball, soccer, taekwondo, and volleyball while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a fun and encouraging environment. Each morning also includes a devotional time designed to help kids grow both on and off the court. Drop-off begins at 8:30am with pick up available between 11:50am -12:10pm. It’s the perfect way for kids to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy spring break with purpose.
Steven Curtis Chapman is coming to First Moore on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 7pm for an unforgettable night of worship and celebration. For the first time ever, you’ll experience the entire album played front to back live — including seven number-one hits like “Speechless,” “Dive,” “Be Still and Know,” and “Fingerprints of God.” The evening will also feature additional favorites from across his legendary career, plus a few surprises along the way. First Moore Baptist Church will host the Oklahoma Baptists Advance Conference on March 2-3. Join pastors and evangelists from Oklahoma and across the nation for a time of encouragement, equipping, and Gospel focus. There will be sessions during the day on both days and an evening session on Monday. If you like to attend, you can pre-register here. There is also an opportunity to serve at a host/greeter. Mission Ignition is an action-packed missions experience for kids in 1st–6th grade. Kids will discover how they can be part of God’s mission through hands-on activities, engaging Bible based lessons, and interactive worship. They’ll meet real missionaries from around the world, jump into fun team-building games, and explore creative ways to serve both locally and globally. Our prayer is that every child leaves inspired and excited to live on mission long after the day is over.

Please be sure to register each person in your group who will be attending. We’ll gather for lunch in the Atrium immediately following the 10:30 service. Both Next Gen and Adult leaders will begin together in the Atrium.

We are so excited to host Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on Friday, February 13, 2026! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church, where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment, and reminded of God’s love for them!
Serve as a Buddy. A buddy at Night to Shine will accompany and assist an assigned Honored Guest throughout the evening. They will provide companionship and needed assistance to their Honored Guest during the event. This is a great way to serve and help us ensure that Night to Shine is great night for all! Buddies must be at least 16 years old.

We have an interest meeting about our upcoming Oaxaca Mission Trips coming up on February 8. We will share the heart and vision of the trip, what ministry will look like on the ground, and how we will partner with the local church. This meeting is for anyone who is prayerfully considering going or who wants to learn more about how God is working in Oaxaca and how you can be involved.
Parents’ Night Out, Friday, February 6, from 6-9pm at First Moore. Childcare for infants through 6th grade and there will be special needs care available. The cost is $10 per child ($30 family max).
Your kids will have pizza and plenty of fun with other kids here at the church building. If you need a night alone or with your spouse, register by Wednesday, February 4!
All leaders in the church are invited to meet on campus for lunch from 12-1 on the first Thursday of each month. Join us for training about leading life groups and making disciples! Register each month to get your free lunch.

United Weekend has been moved to January 30th to February 1st.
If your student will not be able to attend because of the date change, we will refund any payments that have been made. You can cancel their Realm registration if that is the case. (Please remember that students are allowed to come and go throughout the weekend to attend previously scheduled events as long as we have parental permission on file.)
First Moore Students (7th-12th graders) is partnering with other churches in Moore and South OKC for United Weekend on January 30th-February 1st. Students will worship together and be challenged to go deeper in their walk with Christ through biblical teaching and small group discussion.
United Weekend unofficially begins with the United Rally at First Moore Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 21st. This evening is similar to the weekend worship experiences, but is free and open to any student even if they can’t attend United Weekend.
Students stay in host homes on Friday night and Saturday night with a guest leader(s) to talk about each of the sessions. Every host home is a member of First Moore and students are divided by grade/gender.
Please Note: Even though most of our students will choose to stay in host homes during the weekend, this is not a requirement to participate in United Weekend. Please contact Jason if you have any questions.

Important Details About United Weekend
United Weekend is one of the main events we participate in each year for our students. This weekend challenges our students to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus, builds community among our students, while also showing them the importance of uniting with local churches in worship. If your student is not currently registered, please encourage them to join in!
Please Note:
Students are not required to stay overnight at the host homes. Please contact Jason if you have questions about host home participation.
Students are allowed to arrive late or come and go if they have other activities they must participate in on Saturday. They will need to have a Time Away card on record.
Scholarships assistance if available upon request. Contact Brennan in the Next Gen office for a scholarship request form.
Pickleball Nights return on January 26 from 6:30–8:00pm in the gym!
Come enjoy an evening of movement, connection, and friendly competition with others from our community. Whether you’re learning the game or love to play, there’s a spot for you on the court.
It’s free, and equipment is available to check out, making it easy to jump in and play.
A new three-week Equip series begins January 21 titled Can I Trust the Bible? and will be led by Dr. Todd Fisher, Executive Director of Oklahoma Baptists. Meeting on January 21, January 28, and February 4, this series will help equip and encourage believers with a deeper understanding of the reliability and truth of Scripture. This is a great opportunity to grow in confidence in God’s Word and we invite you to be part of it!
Family Dedication is coming up on Sunday, January 18, 2026, during our 10:30am Worship Service, and we’d love for your family to be part of this powerful time. This is an opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their children in a Christ-centered home and for our church family to stand with you in prayer, support, and celebration.
You can register all the children you’d like to dedicate on one form.
