Join us for a powerful evening of worship as the Oklahoma Worship Choir premieres their fifth album, What a Worthy Name.

Featuring voices from across Oklahoma and accompanied by a full orchestra, this incredible mass choir will lead us in a night of worship centered on the worthiness of Jesus. The Oklahoma Worship Choir only gathers once a year, making this a special opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Interested in traveling to the Middle East? Join us for an interest meeting on Sunday, October 4, immediately after the service in the West Conference Room. We’ll share more about the upcoming trip, taking place January 9–17, and answer any questions you may have.

Dr. Richard Ross will be with us on Sunday, October 4th, for a great morning of teaching and preaching.

9:00am - All Next Gen parents and future parents are welcome to join Dr. Ross in the atrium where he will be speaking on the important role men and dads have in the discipleship process for the next generation. We are encouraging moms and dads and future moms and dads to attend this impactful teaching session.

10:30am - During the worship service, Dr. Ross will preach on how the whole church impacts the next generation spiritually.

A light breakfast will be served.

Have you recently become a member of First Moore? Are you interested in becoming a member of First Moore, or do you have questions about what membership is? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then we would like to invite you to join us for FBC 101 on Sunday, September 13.

At FBC 101, we will help people understand what we believe as a church, what we expect of our members, and how a person can be a part of First Moore. Through a mixture of teaching, testimonies, and Q&A, we hope to help everyone present become more acquainted with our church. There will be lunch and childcare will be available. Join us on August 30, immediately following the Worship Service, for our Serve Team Training! This free lunch and training is for both new and current members of our Connections, AVL, Preschool, and Special Needs teams. Come be equipped, encouraged, and unified as we serve together. Lunch and childcare will be provided.

God has uniquely gifted every believer to serve His Church and participate in His mission. But what are spiritual gifts, how do we discover ours, and how should we use them?

Join us for a three-week Equip Series as we explore Spiritual Gifts: What They Are and How to Use Them by Dan Darling. Pastors John and Tyler will lead us through a practical and biblical study designed to help you better understand spiritual gifts and discover how God has equipped you to serve others.

Help us bless students in our community as they prepare for a new school year! Our Next Gen ministry is collecting backpacks (no drawstrings) filled with school supplies (pencils, pens, paper, erasers, and Kleenex) to distribute at Lion Kickoff on August 15. These backpacks will go directly to local students who may need a helping hand. Please bring your filled backpacks to one of the drop boxes located near the three elevators around the church. All donations must be received by Tuesday, August 12. Let’s come together as a church family to make a practical and meaningful difference!

Join our Next Gen Team for lunch as we share our Next Gen Pathway and discuss plans for the upcoming school year. This meeting is for all Next Gen families and is a great opportunity to hear about our vision, learn what to expect in the year ahead, and discover how your family can stay connected and engaged.

Mark your calendars for August 9; it’s Promotion Sunday! Our Preschool and Kids ministries are celebrating with PJs & Promotion, so kids are invited to come to church in their favorite pajamas.

New 1st graders will move up at 9:15, and new 7th graders will make their move shortly afterward. We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting next step with your family!

Pajamas are highly encouraged for Preschool and Kids… new 7th graders, we’ll let you skip them. We don’t want to embarrass you on your first day!

National Night Out is a unique crime prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). It is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, from 7-9pm in the Warren Theatre parking lot. As a community partner, we will have tents set up to greet our community. This is a unique outreach opportunity for us to invite our community to connect with us! Join us for a special lunch and training designed for all Life Group Leaders.

Please be sure to register each person in your group who will be attending. We’ll gather for lunch in the Atrium immediately following the 10:30 service. Both Next Gen and Adult leaders will begin together in the Atrium.

• Children over the age of 4 will remain with their parents throughout the event.

• Childcare will be available for children 4 and under.

We look forward to connecting, equipping, and encouraging one another as we lead together!

Parents’ Night Out, Friday, July, from 6-9pm at First Moore. Childcare for infants through 6th grade and there will be special needs care available. The cost is $10 per child ($30 family max).

Your kids will have pizza and plenty of fun with other kids here at the church building. If you need a night alone or with your spouse, register by Wednesday, July 29!

On July 26, we will be having our quarterly Church Family Sunday. We will have our Sunday morning schedule of Life Groups at 9:00am and our Worship Service at 10:30am, which will be followed by the two additional events listed below.

Noon- Fellowship Meal We will enjoy a meal together following the worship service. The cost for the meal is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family household if you register by Sunday, July 19 The cost will be $10 per person with a maximum of $30 per family household after July 19. A ticket must be purchased for the meal and can be done online or at either connection hub, or west desk (during the week).

12:30pm- Family Business Meeting We will review finances from our last quarter, get updated on many of the ministry efforts of the past quarter, and more.

VBS Family Sunday – Celebrate the Week with Us!

Join us for a special VBS Family Sunday as we wrap up an amazing week of Vacation Bible School! This final gathering is for all VBS kids, volunteers, and their families to celebrate what God has done. Morning Worship will include the fun and energetic VBS songs the kids have been singing all week. After the service, stick around for lunch, the Day 5 drama video, and the exciting announcement of our Mission Challenge winner!

Please register for lunch so we can prepare well for everyone!

Join us for a fun afternoon of food and fellowship on Sunday, July 12, immediately following the morning service until 2:30 PM! We’ll enjoy free Hideaway Pizza and play pickleball in the gym. Don’t have a paddle? No problem, paddles will be provided. Invite a friend and come hang out!

Please note that there will be no Life Groups on Sunday, July 12. As we prepare for Vacation Bible School beginning the following day, our regular Life Group schedule will be paused for the morning. We look forward to worshiping together during our regular worship services and are excited for all God will do through VBS week!
