First Moore Family,
It seems like forever since we have been able to be together for worship and fellowship but finally, through much prayer and planning by our staff and leadership, we will be having our first worship service on May 31st.
Our top priorities to offer our members and guests a clean and safe worship experience. To provide this time, we will be asking everyone to observe some changes that have been made. Please understand that things will look and feel differently than they have before the virus. We have tried to ensure that we are following the guidelines set by the Governor of Oklahoma as well as the Mayor and City Council of Moore. The following is a list of guidelines that you will need to be aware of when attending worship services at First Moore.
If you have had a fever, have been sick, or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please stay home. If you are in any of the groups considered high rise, we recommend you to stay home and view our service on the live stream at 11:00 a.m. on our Facebook page.
Certain areas of the church will be closed off to keep traffic flow conducive to CDC guidelines. Wearing masks is encouraged and they will be available near entrances if you do not have one.
Service Times
9:30 a.m. in the Worship Center and 11:00 a.m. in the Atrium
Entrances
Enter only through the West doors, East doors, Worship Foyer doors on either side, or the East Atrium doors. Greeters will meet you at the door with a warm greeting (air hugs or air high fives).
Seating
Areas will be marked to ensure proper distancing.
Pews will be marked off with blue tape in the 9:30 a.m. service.
Chairs will be appropriately spaced in the 11:00 a.m. service.
Families
We are asking family units to sit together as a group to ensure proper distance and allow as many people to attend as possible. There will be no childcare, Kids Worship, or Life Groups. Kids activity packets will be available during worship times.
Offerings
The offering plates will not be passed around during services. You will be able to place your offering in the containers by the doors as you leave the service.
Sanitizing
All entrances, doors, restrooms, service areas, as well as the Worship Center and Atrium will be cleaned and sanitized before and during services. Water fountains and coffee stations will be closed. Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the church.
As you can see, things are going to be different for a while, but these temporary changes will not keep God's Spirit from moving nor keep our worship experience from being a great one. Continue to pray for our staff as we work to make our time together safe and enjoyable. Pray for God's Spirit to move through our church that we might even see Revival come to First Moore.
