Let’s go “All In”

Let’s go “All In”

In March of this year, we moved into our freshly renovated Worship Center. I think every one of us is thankful for the improvements that have been made to our facility and that it is set up to serve our church and the residents of our community for the foreseeable future. Of course, a project like this comes with a hefty price tag, and thank you to everyone who has given so generously over the last couple of years to help us make strides in paying for it.

When we started the project, we were fortunate to secure a low interest rate of 3.45% for five years. If you have shopped interest rates lately, you know what a great rate this is. However, we only have two more years left at this rate and need to pay as much as possible before the rate increases. We have set the lofty goal of taking in $1.5 million between now and the end of 2026. This would help us make a considerable dent in what we owe before the rate increases.

While this goal is attainable, it will take all of us giving generously and, at times, sacrificially above our general gifts to the church. Because of this, we have chosen the theme “All In” for this two-year campaign. For us to see this debt reduced and eventually paid off, we are all going to have to join in and give together. Every gift matters, and every one of us can contribute something. You will receive additional information in the coming weeks, but this campaign will kick off on December 15th with a special offering at our church Christmas Gathering. I want to ask you and your family to join us in our steps to go above and beyond our regular giving to see this much-needed upgrade to our facility paid off. If we all go “All In,” I know God will bless it and help us see this project through to the end.

For His glory and your joy,
Pastor Charlie

Week of Prayer

There is a great mission field among us in North America. The North American Mission Board is working to spread the gospel in the darkest places. Join us in praying for North American Missions and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering from March 27-April 3. Our church will be focusing our efforts on this offering at our Mission Banquet in December but if you would like to give now you can do so through the button below.

Online Giving Changes

Thank you so much for faithfully giving to our church. Every gift received at First Moore helps us accomplish our mission of helping people be disciples that know, follow, and become like Jesus. We have recently updated our online giving platform. If you have given online before use the steps and tips below to get access to and use Realm, our new giving and church database platform.

  1. Go to www.firstmoore.com/give and select “Give Online”

  2. Once our new online giving form is loaded please select “Sign In” at the top right of the page

  3. On this login page, select “forgot your password” at the bottom, enter the email address that you used to login into our previous giving platform, then select the “Send Email” button

  4. Once you receive the password reset email, click or tap the blue link and enter in a password (tip: As long as your previous password fits the criteria for our new platform you should be able to use it as your password here)

  5. At this point you should be logged in and any previous scheduled gifts and bank or card information should be already loaded into your account

If you need further assistance, please contact Paula Mikes. Below are a couple of other tips for navigating giving in Realm.

  • Once your Realm account is activated…

    • You will have access to everything in Realm which includes groups you are in, events at the church, and many other features. We will be rolling out the other features soon so feel free to look around but giving will be the main function of Realm for the remainder of 2020.

    • You can give by logging into www.onrealm.org, selecting the “Give Here” button at www.firstmoore.com/give, or by downloading and logging into the Realm Connect App on the Apple or Android App Stores.

  • You can schedule giving on a web browser or in the Realm Connect App, but you can only edit scheduled giving while logged in a web browser.
