First Moore is excited to host a night of fun, food, games, and more for the family on Sunday, October 30 from 5:00-7:00pm.
There are many opportunities for the people of First Moore to serve our community. You could decorate your trunk and hand out candy, donate candy, help with food, inflatables, parking, registration and more.
What is Trunk or Treat? Trunk or Treat is an outreach event for the families and children in our community. Trunk or Treat is similar to a Fall Festival in that it serves as a safe and fun alternative to traditional Halloween activities. It also provides a great opportunity to connect with our community.
When is Trunk or Treat? Sunday, October 30 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
How does a Trunk or Treat work? At a Trunk or Treat event, people decorate their trunks, park their vehicles in a circle or line in a parking lot, and give candy or prizes out to the children as they walk by. (You could even have a game at your trunk if you would like.) We have set a goal for 60 decorated trunks to help make this a fun family event.
How can I be a part of this event? There are several ways that you can be a part:
Decorating a trunk and handing out candy.
Donating wrapped candy to be handed out. (There are three candy donation boxes around the church where you can drop off your candy donations. There is a box at each first floor elevator.)
Work at the Snack Stop.
Help setup/run activities. (connector team, inflatables, pumpkin painting, safety team, etc.)
Help clean up following the event.
