When is Trunk or Treat? Sunday, October 27 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
How does a Trunk or Treat work? At a Trunk or Treat event, people decorate their trunks and give candy or prizes to the children as they walk by. (You could even have a game in your area if you would like.) We have set a goal for 60 decorated trunks to help make this a fun family event. (The church will provide the candy!) This year, put your creative caps on because we will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the best-decorated trunks!
How can I be a part of this event? There are several ways that you can be a part:
Decorating a trunk and pass out candy.
Donating wrapped candy to be handed out. (There are candy donation boxes around the church to drop off your candy.)
Work at the Snack Stop.
Help set up/run activities. (connector team, inflatables, pumpkin painting, safety team, etc.)
Help clean up following the event.

Pray for our team as they work alongside IMB missionaries to share the gospel with Spaniards in Madrid, Spain. The team will teach a cooking class as a means to share the gospel. They will prayer walk through streets, use sports as a platform to share the gospel, evangelize to students on college campuses, engage in conversational English clubs with the purpose of sowing gospel seeds, and more.
Please pray for the work that is going on and for the missionaries in Madrid. The city of Madrid is the 3rd largest in the European Union with 6.5 million people. Yet, 2% of all of Spain’s population is evangelical Christian. Which means there are more than 45 million people that don’t know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. There is work to be done. That is why we go and why we ask for your prayers.
How do all the ministries of our church flow together to help people follow Jesus? How can we help people take the next step in their faith journey?
Connector Training is a three-week training on Connecting with your peers to make disciples with your whole life at First Moore. We hope you can join us!
