First Moore is excited to host a night of fun, food, games, and more for the family on Sunday, October 27 from 5:00-7:00pm.

There are many opportunities for the people of First Moore to serve our community. You could decorate a space and hand out candy, donate candy, help with food, inflatables, parking, registration, and more.

What is Trunk or Treat?  Trunk or Treat is an outreach event for the families and children in our community. Trunk or Treat is similar to a Fall Festival in that it serves as a safe and fun alternative to traditional Halloween activities. It also provides a great opportunity to connect with our community.

When is Trunk or Treat?  Sunday, October 27 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

How does a Trunk or Treat work?  At a Trunk or Treat event, people decorate their trunks and give candy or prizes to the children as they walk by. (You could even have a game in your area if you would like.) We have set a goal for 60 decorated trunks to help make this a fun family event. (The church will provide the candy!) This year, put your creative caps on because we will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the best-decorated trunks!

How can I be a part of this event?  There are several ways that you can be a part:

• Decorating a trunk and pass out candy.

• Donating wrapped candy to be handed out. (There are candy donation boxes around the church to drop off your candy.)

• Work at the Snack Stop.

• Help set up/run activities. (connector team, inflatables, pumpkin painting, safety team, etc.)

• Help clean up following the event.

On September 28, the Foster Care and Adoptive Association of Oklahoma will be using our campus for a training from 9am-3:30pm. We would like to serve the parents attending by caring for their children. If you would like to serve this day, you can pick a three-hour time slot and what age you would prefer to care for. Please register below to let us know you want to help!

Our Wednesday Night Activities are starting back on August 14! Dinner will start at 5:30pm and all other activities will start at 6:30pm. There will be ministry options for all ages! We can’t wait to see you back on Wednesday nights!

Free roller skating for the family to celebrate the start of the new school year! Meet your Next Gen team at Skate Moore for a night of fun and fellowship.

NNO is a unique crime prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). It is scheduled for Tuesday from 7:30–9:30pm in the Warren Theatre parking lot. As a community partner, we will have tents set up to greet our community. This is a unique outreach opportunity for us to invite our community to connect with us! Join us in the Fellowship Center for a come & go shower for Travis & Stephanie. Light refreshments will be served. This will be a display shower, meaning if you choose to bring a gift, leave it unwrapped and just add a card. Their registry can be viewed here!

Join us on Sunday, June 30 starting at noon in the Atrium for a time of fellowship and celebration. We will be enjoying a church meal together as we celebrate the freedoms we have as Americans. Our meal will be Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Baked Beans, and Potato Chips from Van’s Pig Stand. The meal is free if you RSVP by June 23 and it will cost $5 per person and $20 family max after June 23.

We will also be raising funds for Missions through a dessert auction. If you would like to donate a dessert for the auction you can do so by selecting “bring a dessert” below.

This lunch and training is for our current team members and those interested in joining the Connection Team. It will be held in the East Leadership Center from 12pm-2pm.

Our Embracing Generations Game Night is a night where all ages come together and simply play games and grow relationships! On May 8, come prepared to play some pickleball, dominoes, corn hole, board games, gaga ball, 9 square, and more!

On the 24th of March, we will have our first Worship Service in the newly remodeled Worship Center! We are so excited to be back in the larger space! With the move, we will go back to meeting all together in one service at 10:30am. Our Life Groups will also all meet at the same time at 9:00am. Woo!

On March 17, we would like to invite our families to preview the new Special Needs Center! Please drop by after either service and get a sneak peak of the new space!

We will also have information about Camp Perfect Wings and, if you want to attend as a camper or buddy, please come during this time for a packet!

We are so excited to host Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on Friday, February 9, 2024! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment, and reminded of God’s love for them!

You are invited to join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service! It will begin at 5:30pm and we will share communion, sing Christmas hymns, and praise our God for sending His Son for us. Preschool Ministry will be available for infants - 2 year olds.

Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed and that happy memories from past years can’t be recreated?

Our Surviving the Holidays Night is mainly for people who are grieving a loved one’s death.

(The church will provide the candy you give out at your trunk.)

• Decorating a trunk(spot in the church) and hand out candy.

• Donating wrapped candy to be handed out. (There are three candy donation boxes around the church where you can drop off your candy donations. There is a box at each first-floor elevator.)

• Work at the Snack Stop.

• Help set up/run activities. (connector team, inflatables, pumpkin painting, safety team, etc.)

• Help clean up following the event.

This Men’s Ministry event will be catered by Van’s Pig Stand. The cost will be $15 total. Hear from Vince Miller and sign up to win a giveaway! Don’t miss it!

Childcare is provided for those who sign up. Donuts will be provided for adults.

All generations are encouraged to join us on Wednesday, August 16 at 6:30pm for our Embracing Generations Night. All ages will enjoy Chick-fil-a Sandwiches, Chips, and Cookies in the Atrium served from 5:30-6:15pm. At 6:30pm, kids, 6th grade and below, will head to their ministry areas and everyone else will stay in the Atrium for a time of multi-generation fellowship and learning.

Chick-fil-a is free if you sign-up by Sunday, August 13.

When was the last time you went bowling?

First Moore is having a Next Gen Bowling Night on May 17 from 6-8pm at Sooner Bowling Center. This is a free event (if you register by May 14th) for the entire church! Come out and enjoy some fun with your church family. Food available for purchase at the bowling center. $5 if you register after May 14th or show up at the door.

We are family at First Moore and if you are a part of this family or not, we would love for you to join our Embracing Generations Night. Kids (1st grade) to Senior Adults will meet in the Atrium to eat, play, and grow in relationships with one another. Birth through Kindergarten will be in their normal Wednesday Night rooms.

• Dinner – 6:00pm to 6:30pm - Pizza! (Register below)

• Games - 6:30pm to 8:00pm - We will have several different activities for people to engage in from pickleball to board games.

All Adult Life Groups are invited to join us for night of fun and fellowship in the Atrium. Pickleball experience is not required. Childcare will be available.
